Well done! - you have found the website for your course in Intercultural Communication! Welcome!

Since our second lecture is already tomorrow, your home assignment will be very simple and small:

1) Write a short message to your professor at estson@gmail.com, saying hello, introducing yourself, and naming ONE thing that you remember from the lecture on Monday. Please make sure to give your name and group number. 

2) Check out this interesting article (in Russian) - про датского жирафа на тему "Что русскому хорошо, то немцу смерть" (или, в данном случае, о том, как и почему "через неделю нормальный (ну, то есть русский) человек взвоет от скандинавской жизни").

3) If you'd like, you can start watching the film "Babies" (ВКонтакте: http://vk.com/video956584_166244230) - and as you watch, take notes about what you see in terms of intercultural communication, noting what episodes and events impressed you the most and why. You will be asked to being your notes to class next Monday to share your observations with the others.

If you'd like, you can take a look at the famous book by С. Г. Тер-Минасова  "Язык и межкультурная коммуникация" and the Russian edition of E.Hall's work:  "Язык тела." Как понять иностранца без слов".
