1) Please watch a short episode from the film "Terminal" (it's available here in Russian or here in English) and be prepared to comment on the situation from the perspective of three models of communication that we discussed in class: Philosophical (M. Bakhtin), Linguistic (R. Jacobson), and Cybernetic (N. Wiener). If you missed the lecture, please read the corresponding chapter in our textbook (В.Г. Зинченко, В.Г. Зусман, З.И. Кирнозе, "Межкультурная коммуникация: от системного подхода к синергетической парадигме", стр. 76- 87.) You can take the textbook out in the University Library or buy the e-book here).
